Letter to Families, Residents and Friends

September 7, 2022

Dear Families and Residents,

At this time, Clarview Nursing and Rehab has entered into COVID-19 outbreak status. Over the past 2 weeks, we have had four staff members test positive for COVID-19.

While regulations in the community for COVID-19 precautions,

isolation, and quarantine have become less strict, long-term care guidelines have not changed as much and we continue to use PPE, conduct contact tracing, and implement precautions as instructed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. As always, our focus remains keeping the residents here in our home as safe as possible, while also maintaining their spirits during this ongoing health crisis.

While visitation is NOT restricted in any way, visiting should be conducted with the understanding that there is a risk associated with it to the visitor. All visitors are required to wear a face mask during visitation regardless of your or the residents vaccination status. As always, video and telephone visits are always available and can be coordinated with our activity department.

As we have all throughout this pandemic, we ask that if you are experiencing any illness or symptoms of COVID-19, you refrain from entering the building. Please continue to use the Accushield kiosk at our entry way prior to visiting with residents. We are thankful for your ongoing cooperation and support during these times.

If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us at (814) 745-2031.

Thank you,

Rachael Beck, RN

Director of Nursing

Jennifer Callender, LPN
